Pick Up Orders: 15% gratuity included. With our standard pick up orders, food is served in disposable aluminum pans or plastic platters.
Deliveries: Deliveries in Kailua-Kona start at $280 and includes an added 20% gratuity. With our standard deliveries, food is served in disposable aluminum pans or plastic platters and is kept to proper temperature during transport.
Full Service Catering: Our full services include a $560 set up fee, a 20% gratuity to be shared among our catering staff, plus a labor charge of $25 per hour per staff member, including setup and breakdown time. All full service catering events are managed by an Umekes Event professional and all staff are trained in the proper handling, preparation, and storage of food. Our set up includes use of Umekes upscale wooden Koa chafing dishes, buffet signage, light decor, serving bowls, and serving utensils.
Rent Umekes Private Event Space: Our private air conditioned dining room has a capacity of 60 guests and our outdoor seating area can accommodate another 24 guests. The rental fee is $600 for 3 hours and $100/hour for every hour past that. Minimum food order requirement is $1500 or $35 per person, whichever is greater. We also charge a $250 cleaning fee. We charge $40/hourly labor cost for the event manager, 20% gratuity, and state tax. Our venue includes dining tables, chairs, lounge style seating for up to 6 guests, two Rockville speakers, two mics, and a karaoke system that you are welcome to enjoy. Food is typically served buffet style. We include complete buffet set up and a manager will be on site to manage the buffet line and help refill buffet items as needed.
To lock in and secure your event date with us, Umekes requires a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due at least 7 business days before your scheduled event. Up to 90% of your total catering order is fully refundable as long as we are provided 3 weeks written notice of any cancellation. If less than 3 weeks notice is given, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
Any last minute catering orders placed less than 1 week out must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Please allow us at least a 72 hour notice for all catering.
